” Soul Eater “anyone that knows me and the albums I’ve created ” The Darkest Night Ever!!!” and ” My Eternal winter ” knows I do conceptual albums with central themes And “The Soul Eater” is no different. It has a central figure (John Smith) he leads a very boring life he tries to escape from. He works at an office job, and finds that his only escape is when he happens upon this talent/ curse. When falls asleep he creeps into the dreams of others and lives their lives to its fullest, but finds out that in order for him to occupy their life the can no longer exist, and all their fears, loves loss becomes a part of his own memories and eventually drives him insane. Every song is another life he has stolen and creates a border picture of the lives he’s stolen and the darker side of his own.

No Time To Chill is the third solo release from New Jersey (USA) emcee Poet Substratum. Poet Substratum is one half of the group Written On Your Psyche and is no stranger to creating music that is versatile, personal, and creative. No Time To Chill is a collaborative effort between Poet and French producers The Waxaholiks (LRHone, Matnez, and Lawzi) of Grey Square Record. What sets this album apart from Poet’s earlier solo and Written On Your Psyche albums is the lyrical painting of a picture that captures his life at this very moment in time. As immigrants across the U.S. continue to have their human rights compromised, with HB 411(LA), SB 1070(AZ), HB 87(GA), and other copycat legislation, Hip Hop artist Truth Universal responds with “Immigrant” — the lead single from his latest project “Resistance Vol. 2: Polygraph.” Himself a Trinidad born immigrant, raised in New Orleans, LA, Truth strives to address the plight of the U.S. immigrant, cite the commonality of immigrant struggle regardless of the land of origin, and challenge the contradictions of U.S. immigration enforcement policy. Amidst the sonic backdrop crafted by DJ Black Panther, Mexican born MC, Bocafloja, assists Truth in his commentary on the subject.
